Welcome to my personal blog aimed at connecting with friends and documenting all things “hot and awkward” since moving from small town America to the Big City™. November 15 marks the sixth month I’ve been in Chicago, and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying life ever since making the move.

Honestly, I don’t think I could ever go back.

As for me, I’m one of those slightly quirky, creative types. I love typography and design, and spend most of my days working as an art director for a small advertising agency here in Chicago. I dig all sorts of music, good food (really been getting into cooking lately), good brews, great friends, and just life in general.

I plan to use this site as a place to store posts about work in progress and various musings about life and beyond. We’ll see how things go.
